In Fort Myers, at the corner of Daniels and Metro Parkways’ will be the newest addition to the Lee Memorial Health System, the new Gulf Coast Hospital. The four-story hospital will be able to accommodate 349 beds, new 43-bed ER department, and five trauma rooms. At 550,000 square feet, it is four times larger than the current Gulf Coast Hospital.

Vic’s Painting had been contracted to repaint the Gulf Coast Hospital’s existing building to match the new. Interior painting of the second floor units of the new hospital was also awarded to Vic’s. The new Gulf Coast Hospital is expected to open in January of 2009.
